An unglazed, odourless gel made from nori seaweed extract. It is slippery, water-soluble, kind to skin and washes out easily.

Will it stain sheets or clothes?

No — the gel is water-based and washes out. Practitioners use covered surfaces or a dedicated wet room regardless.

How long does a nuru session run?

Typically 60 to 90 minutes, including the gel application and a shower afterwards. Confirm the length on the listing.

Nuru Massage in Pimlico

Nuru massage is the Japanese body-slide style: both parties are covered in slippery, unglazed nori seaweed gel and the therapist slides their whole body over yours. It is close-contact by definition, and most listings pair it with erotic or body to body framing. Expect a wet room or covered surfaces — the gel goes everywhere.
